Play idea with old cardboard boxes

There’s really no end to the imaginative fun in the ordinary objects and junk around the house.

Here’s a commonly found object… OLD CARDBOARD BOXES!

They make a terrific cave or tunnel

And even a makeshift slide

So why not toss an old cardboard box to your little one and see what else they come up with.
It might surprise you.

To a child, life really can be this simple.

  1. Toddler imagination is indeed amazing. The slide seems to be a favourite. When we were sunning my daughter's mattress it became her slide as well!

  2. You know... I've sometimes regretted purchasing toys for the kid, because he's just as happy with boxes and regular items that can be found around the house!

He uses my shawls, sarongs, back scratchers, fly smackers and what have yous... and gets entertained for hours!

He's happiest with cardboard boxes, though! ;)

  4. Oh I agree, the simplest things actually make the best toys! Many times, I find they are more interested in the packaging than the toy itself. Thanks for linking up!
