Our Daily Routine

We follow a semi-structured daily routine to provide children a sense of security and predictability. Please note that the timeframes given are intended as approximate guides to indicate the general flow we follow throughout the day. I also allow flexibility to adjust the routine as needed according to the children's needs and interests each day.

08.00–09.00amSettling children into care, Indoor/outdoor play
09.00–09.30amMat time / music / story time
09.30–10.00amMorning tea
10.00–10.30amArt & craft / Structured activity
10.30–11.30amIndoor/outdoor play
11.30–12.00pmLunch
12.00– 12.30pmStory time / quiet activity and get ready for rest time
12.30–03.00pmRest time (children who wake will be offered quiet activities)
03.00–03.30pmAfternoon tea
03.30–04.30pmIndoor/outdoor  play
04.30-05.00pmQuiet activity / get ready for pick up

(Toileting/ nappy change will take place as required; Handwashing upon arrival and at regular intervals throughout the day, e.g. after toileting/nappy change, after outdoor play, before mealtimes)
